Exciting senior opportunities in Hampshire and the Solent Combined County Authority Are you ready to make a significant impact in shaping the future of our region? Hampshire and the Solent Combined County Authority is seeking dynamic, strategic, and outward-facing leaders to serve as the inaugural statutory officers on an initial 12-month basis. Under the proposed changes, powers and funding will be transferred from central government to a new Mayoral Combined County Authority, enabling more local control over key areas such as transport, housing and economic development. These three pivotal roles will play a critical part in developing and establishing the authority and driving transformation across the region. We are recruiting for: Chief Executive Officer (Head of Paid Service) Chief Finance Officer (Section 73 Officer) Monitoring Officer These roles could be Fixed Term Contracts or Secondments. You will bring political astuteness and leadership to provide support in navigating complex political environments. Your influence will help embed robust governance, financial stewardship, and legal integrity from the outset.
