Our client operates a large prestige dealership and, due to an internal promotion, is looking to recruit an experienced and successful Service Team Manager to run a small team within the service department, reporting to the Aftersales Manager.
The role will suit the following candidates:
* Service Manager
* Team Manager
* Reception Manager
* Workshop Controller
The Role:
1. Managing, coaching, and motivating employees to ensure a high quality of staff.
2. Controlling cost management for the department.
3. Compiling and maintaining a resource plan for the workshop and load optimisation.
4. Monitoring performance against agreed targets in collaboration with the Aftersales Manager.
5. Performing performance analysis to identify areas of weakness and implementing targeted marketing activities.
6. Reviewing CSI surveys and other measures to monitor customer satisfaction.
7. Ensuring correct completion of Vehicle Health Checks, upsell conversions, and follow-up of unsold, deferred work processes.
8. Guaranteeing cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop and ensuring quality control of all completed tasks.
About You:
* Experienced and established Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, Reception Manager, or Workshop Controller who is successful in their current role.
* Must be a ‘leader’ of people and an ambassador for the brand and dealer group.
* Demonstrates a stable career path.
* Ideally has a prestige background.
