About The Role
The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for leading the testing of electric drive systems, ensuring that all testing is conducted efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
* Own and optimise dynamometer and test facilities
* Plan and execute V&V, benchmarking, and lifecycle testing
* Design scalable test systems and develop LabVIEW automation
* Analyse test data and produce performance reports
* Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions
* Mentor and support junior test engineers
* Ensure standards compliance, safety, and calibration
* Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering team
Qualifications
* Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded, or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering
Required Skills
* Experience testing complex electro‑mechanical systems
* Strong knowledge of DAQ, instrumentation, and measurement integrity
* Hands‑on experience with NI PXI and LabVIEW
* Data analysis and signal processing skills (MATLAB, FFT, DSP)
* Experience commissioning test rigs and fixtures
* Structured problem‑solving and RCA capability
* Detail‑oriented and comfortable in a scaling environment
Compensation
Salary: £60,000-£70,000
