About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care plans, and updating records accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication management.
* Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
* Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, addressing requests, concerns, or complaints appropriately.
About You
To succeed, you will embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
