Soft Services Facilities Manager Location: HMP Addiewell Employer: Sodexo Justice Services Contract Type: Full-time About the Role Sodexo Justice Services is seeking an experienced Soft Services Facilities Manager to lead, coordinate, and enhance the delivery of soft services at HMP Addiewell. This critical role ensures our cleaning, catering support, stores, waste management, laundry services, and grounds maintenance functions operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory and contractual requirements. You will play a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and fit-for-purpose environment while driving continuous improvement, staff engagement, and high-quality service delivery across the prison estate. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage soft service operations including cleaning (clinical and non-clinical), laundry services, stores, waste and recycling, shop, logistics, and grounds maintenance. Ensure all services meet contractual KPIs, legislative requirements, and Sodexo quality standards. Support catering compliance across HACCP, allergens, food safety, and servery operations. Manage budgets, forecasting, reporting and ensure cost-effective delivery. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and service enhancements. Lead and develop teams, ensuring strong engagement, performance management, and adherence to HR processes. Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental standards, and ISOQAR requirements. Work collaboratively with Hard FM and sustainability teams to support wider facilities objectives. About You We’re looking for someone who is: A strong communicator and people manager with proven leadership experience. Skilled in delivering multi-service soft FM operations within complex environments. Financially literate with the ability to manage budgets and analyse performance data. Qualified in Catering (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent; HACCP knowledge desirable). Experienced in compliance, safety management, and quality assurance.
