The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team and be committed to providing the best quality catering service to patients and staff within the Trust.
To share learned best practices with others in developing catering services as changes are made over time, allowing the department and individuals to adapt to changing needs.
Working hours and conditions
Working hours are predominantly between :am to :am and :pm over days on a flexible rotation, which will involve some weekend work and various shift patterns including early and late shifts as the service requires. Likely, there will be more late shifts than early shifts. The pay rate will increase for all hours worked on a Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.
Candidate requirements
* Good communication skills, as you will be working within the kitchen and serving food at ward level.
* Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
* Current level food hygiene certificate, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
* Catering experience is essential for this post.
* This is a permanent contract.
* Welsh language skills are desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
