Restaurant Manager – Spanish Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar (Sussex) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager with experience in EVENTS, to oversee the day-to-day running of our beautiful Spanish Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Sussex, as well as manage and deliver a range of private events and functions. The Role: As Restaurant & Events Manager, you will be responsible for: * Leading the front-of-house team to deliver warm, professional, and attentive service for both lunch and evening dinner. * Managing the bar operation and ensuring seamless service. * Overseeing and coordinating private events, parties, and functions, from initial enquiry to successful delivery. * Working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service and consistently high-quality guest experiences. * Driving revenue through events, upselling, and creative promotions. * Recruiting, training, and developing staff to uphold the highest standards. * Handling budgets, cost controls, and ensuring operational efficiency. About You: * Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Events Manager, or in a similar leadership role. * Strong background in both restaurant service and events management. * Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask. * A hands-on leader with a natural ability to inspire and motivate a team. * Financially astute, with experience managing budgets and achieving revenue targets. * A genuine passion for hospitality, Mediterranean food, and creating memorable guest experiences.
