We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Senior Residential support worker to join a Children’s Residential Home in Coventry. This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for a candidate with a strong background in residential childcare.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and informal supervision to support workers during shifts
*
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes the emotional and physical wellbeing of children and young people
*
Support the implementation and review of care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies
*
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and consistency in all interactions
*
Ensure all practice adheres to Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and internal policies
*
Report incidents appropriately and contribute to ensuring a safe and supportive home environment
Requirements:
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
*
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care
*
Confident communicator with excellent leadership and teamwork skills
*
