We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to clients in their own home or care home settings.
* Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being and companionship.
* Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed.
Requirements
* Previous experience in patient care, or a similar role is preferred.
* Training in Care certificate or NVQ level 2 preferred but training will be provided.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A valid driving licence is essential for visiting clients.
* A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
