Job Title: Deputy Manager – (Children’s Home)
Location: Oldham
Salary: £16 - £18 per hour
Hours: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to oversee the launch and ongoing operation of our Children’s Homes in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing organisation from the beginning, shaping high-quality residential care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home.
* Lead, motivate and supervise the staff team
* Support staff development through supervise training
* Assist with care planning, risk assessments and behaviour strategies.
* Take responsibility for the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
* Work in partnership with professionals and families
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Minimum Level 3 diploma in Residential childcare (or Equivalent)
* Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
* Significant experience in children's residential setting
* Full UK driving license (preferred)
