Our Medical Records team is seeking enthusiastic Health Information Services Officers to join our team on a casual basis. Shifts to suit your lifestyle!
Responsibilities
* Medical record retrieval
* Provision of health information to internal and external clients
* Filing of paperwork
* Filing and culling of medical records
* Day to day functionality of the HIS department
* Participating in performance improvement activities
* Authority to work in Australia
* Proficient use of email, web-based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
* Ability to work within deadlines
* Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business
* Commitment to document security and patient privacy
* Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (desirable)
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (desirable)
* Previous experience in Health Information Services (desirable)
