Junior Finance Assistant | Scaling TV & Film Production Company | London/Hybrid Harmonic are delighted to be working with a dynamic and fast-growing TV & Film production company who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. The business has established a strong reputation within the industry, producing high-profile scripted content for major broadcasters and streamers. The Role This role will provide essential support to the Finance Director across all aspects of the company's financial operations. You'll gain exposure to both corporate and production finance, from day-to-day bookkeeping to supporting management reporting and slate-level analysis. While you'll start off primarily supporting across AP, AR, and bank reconciliation, this role has the opportunity to progress and learn quite quickly-providing exposure to board pack preparation, management accounts, month and year end, and more complex accounting tasks typically done within a production company. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills and a clear passion and drive to excel in finance and accounting. Some prior experience supporting in an accounting function (even if just through a trainee program) is important here-however this role will provide a lot of opportunities for individualised learning and development. A love for TV and film is also essential! This is a hybrid role based in Central London with 3 days per week expected in the office. Responsibilities Manage sales and purchase ledgers, including raising invoices and preparing payments Reconcile all bank accounts and monitor cashflow Support the Finance Director in maintaining financial control across projects and productions Track funding and spend across development projects and productions Support research into global production incentives and financing opportunities Maintain clear and organised digital finance records and documentation Assist in producing project cost reports, board packs, and management accounts Ad hoc tasks to support the Finance Director and wider business What We Need to See (Essential) A passion for TV and Film Strong communication skills Some prior experience in accounting/finance What We'd Like to See (Bonus) Previous experience in an accounts assistant role Package: Salary: £28,000 Working Pattern: 3 days in-office, 2 days' work from home Ideal Start: ASAP-1 month notice If this is of interest, please get in touch with your CV at Due to the high volume of applications we receive, if you haven't heard back within 14 days please assume your application has not been successful on this occasion.
