🎓 Two PhD openings in Metal Additive Manufacturing (fully funded) at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). We invite applications from globally minded researchers eager to build an international academic career in an English-speaking research environment in China.
Position 1: Directed Energy Deposition (DED) of high-entropy alloys and refractive alloys (with industrial partner). Focus: laser–metal interaction, metallurgical characterization, metrology, mechanical testing.
Position 2: Sinter-based precision metal/ceramic AM for biomedical alloys & precious metals.
