Ageas has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Strategic Pricing Team. The company is enhancing its pricing capabilities to compete effectively in the home insurance market. The role involves supporting performance monitoring and contributing to the profitable development of Ageas’ Household portfolio through pricing control.
The Senior Pricing Analyst will analyze data using advanced actuarial and statistical techniques to inform pricing strategies aimed at increasing volume, income, and profit. The role directly impacts the company's profitability and growth targets, focusing on conversion, retention, and loss ratio management.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing, validating, and reviewing predictive models, including machine learning models
* Running data analyses for modeling, pricing, and monitoring
* Creating and maintaining datasets for modeling and pricing
* Supporting deployment of pricing models and rate adjustments
* Performing pricing analyses and presenting options to senior stakeholders
* Managing records for pricing decisions and implementation
* Executing projects across all stages of the price control cycle
* Influencing team and company peers with insights
* Monitoring market trends affecting pricing and underwriting
* Applying statistical techniques and programming skills (SAS, R, Python, etc.)
* Utilizing insurance software such as Emblem and Radar
* Maintaining high attention to detail and prioritizing tasks effectively

* Ensuring accuracy and reliability of data, models, and reports
