This role offers the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, handling a varied caseload of private family matters while progressing your career.The RoleYou will manage your own caseload of family law matters, advising clients on a range of sensitive and often complex issues. The work will primarily focus on private family law, offering exposure to high-quality matters and the opportunity to build strong client relationships.Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of family law matters from instruction through to conclusion
* Advising clients on divorce, separation, and financial settlements
* Handling private children matters, including arrangements and disputes
* Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications
* Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
* Liaising with courts, counsel, and third parties
* Supporting negotiation and alternative dispute resolution where possible
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in family law
* Strong understanding of private family law procedures and practice ()
* Experience managing your own caseload independently
* Excellent client care and communication skills, particularly in sensitive situations
* Strong drafting and organisational abilities
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* A proactive and professional approach to work
