Wedding and events manager

Role: Wedding and Events Manager Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required Location: Alfriston, East Sussex Pay: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Wedding & Events Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, an exciting and unique wedding and events venue. The Requirements: Proven experience in wedding, events, hospitality or venue management. Strong sales, planning and organisational skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. A keen eye for detail and venue presentation. Ability to lead events calmly and professionally under pressure. Genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for clients and guests. The Role: Generate and convert wedding and event enquiries to maximise venue occupancy and revenue. Conduct venue tours and consultations, preparing bespoke proposals and securing bookings. Manage all aspects of weddings and events from booking through to completion. Coordinate timelines, logistics, suppliers, accommodation and guest requirements. Act as the lead on event days, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer service. Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, suppliers and industry partners. Monitor sales performance, event delivery and guest feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement.
