We are working with a reputable client based in Ashford(TN24)who require a Solar Panel Installer to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying £35,000
- £40,000per annum (DOE).
Working Hours: Monday
- Friday: 7.00am
- 5.00pm Holidays: 28 days holiday (includingbank holidays) (Company vehicle fuel card provided) The ideal candidate will have previous experienceworking as a Solar Panel Installer / Roofer Key Responsibilities: Install solar panels safely on rooftops in line with project requirements and safety regulations.
Inspect, clean, and prepare roof surfaces, carrying out minor repairs where needed prior to installation.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to mount panels and associated components securely.
Support the assembly and wiring of electrical components for solar energy systems.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Perform on-site checks during installation to identify and address any issues promptly.
Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety guidelines at all times.
Key Requirements: Experience in roofing, electrical work, or mechanical installation is preferred.
Competence with hand tools /power tools Mechanical aptitude combined with basic electrical knowledge is highly valued.
Welding experience is beneficial but not essential.
Good understanding of safety practices for working at heights and with electrical systems.
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and handling materials safely. xxuwjjq
Relevant roofing or electrical certifications/licences are desirable but not required.
