Senior Estimator/ Estimator – Specialist Construction ? Glasgow An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Estimator or Senior Estimator to join a well-established specialist construction business based in Glasgow. This role would suit an experienced Estimator with a background in construction or specialist contracting who is looking to work within a stable, respected business delivering high-quality projects for major principal contractors across the UK. About the Business Our client is a long-standing specialist contractor with over 30 years’ experience, delivering a wide range of construction trade packages including suspended ceilings, dry lining, partitions, joinery, steel framing systems and associated works. The business has built a strong reputation for quality, repeat work, and long-term client relationships across commercial and public-sector projects. The Role As an Estimator / Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for: Preparing detailed cost plans, take-offs and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation Engaging with the supply chain to obtain competitive subcontractor and supplier pricing Developing accurate and commercially sound tender returns Working closely with commercial directors, pre-construction and delivery teams Supporting projects through bid, award and handover stages About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proven estimating experience within construction or specialist subcontracting Experience working on fit-out, interiors or specialist trade packages Strong numerical ability and commercial judgement Confidence interpreting drawings, specifications and construction methodologies Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team What’s on Offer Opportunity to join a respected and well-established specialist contractor Strong and visible pipeline of work Glasgow-based role with long-term stability Competitive salary package, dependent on experience Supportive working environment with scope for progression Hybrid working 3 days in the office 2 from home Interested?
