Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Early Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a Planning Analyst in the Gas Services Distributed GCO organisation, there is no such thing as a typical day. You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling of new equipment for customer contracts. Working closely with the Engineering, Assembly and Procurement teams, you are a key interface to the Project Manager, advising and reporting on project progress and giving early warning of potential risk to delivery. This role would suit a number of candidates including candidates whom have recently completed a relevant degree in a subject such as Project Management.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Establishing, monitoring and controlling the overall schedule in SAP during project execution to meet internal and contractual requirements.
2. Ensuring materials are programmed to be available to achieve On Time Delivery in full and initiate corrective actions to minimise penalties for late delivery.
3. Provide Planning support and information within the business.
4. Establishing milestones in SAP and monitoring project progress to enable the Project Manager and Finance to invoice on time payments.
5. Internal reporting for multiple contracts on the status of Engineering, Purchase, Expediting, Manufacture and Assembly.
6. Preparing customer progress reports according to contract requirements and attending customer meetings when necessary to present and report on progress.
7. Participating the project Kick-Off meetings to advise on contract milestones, lead times, scheduling, package build and despatch requirements to enable the wider project team to understand both contractual and Business Plan requirements.
8. Monitor actual project progress, initiate and advise on possible solutions and corrective actions.
What You Bring
9. Technical knowledge of gas turbines and the industry would be advantageous.
10. Planning and scheduling experience would also be an advantageous.
11. Ability to work in cross-functional team, using clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
12. Problem-Solving: Identifying issues and developing solutions quickly.
13. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software, and tools such as SAP, MS Project & Excel.
14. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines; works effectively in team-oriented environment.
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a hybrid role whereby 3-4 days will be office based at the Rushton Works site in Lincoln.
