Prospero Teaching is pleased to support our client Infant School in Portsmouth in their search for a passionate and dedicated Infant School Teacher. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire young learners and shape their early educational experiences in a supportive and engaging environment.
About the Role:
As an Infant SchoolTeacher, you will:
1. Deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
2. Establish a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes children’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
3. Adapt teaching approaches to cater to individual learning needs, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to succeed.
4. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the best possible outcomes for students.
6. Encourage positive behaviour and a love for learning, fostering a sense of curiosity and confidence in young learners.

9. Start Date: September 2025
10. Contract Type: Permanent
11. Hours: Full-time (08:00 AM – 16:00 PM, subject to variation)
12. Salary: Starting from £ per day
Qualifications & Requirements:
Essential:
13. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Desirable:
14. Previous experience in a similar role
15. Commitment to ongoing professional development
16. A relevant degree or higher qualification
Eligibility Criteria:
17. Right to work in the UK
18. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (registered with the online update service or willingness to apply)
19. References available upon request
20. Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (or willingness to complete training)
