Construction Associate
Our client, a leading law firm based in the North East, is on the hunt for an enthusiastic Construction Associate with at least 3 years of non-contentious construction experience. This is your chance to join a vibrant team that thrives on innovation and excellence.
About the Role:
You will be part of a dynamic team handling a broad spectrum of exciting projects for clients across the North East, UK, and beyond. You’ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including investors, funders, developers, contractors, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and advise on industry-standard contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.).
* Draft and negotiate professional appointments, collateral warranties, and bonds.
* Mentor and support junior fee earners in their development.
* Engage in business development activities to promote our client’s services.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 3 years PQE in non-contentious construction law.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and related documentation.
* A passion for business development and nurturing junior talent.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset.
