About the Opportunity
We’re supporting a fast-growing SME in Wetherby to appoint a confident and capable Executive Assistant to work closely with the Managing Director (MD) and senior leadership team. This is a varied, people-first business that combines operational delivery with genuine purpose. They’re ambitious, agile, and already experiencing impressive growth, on track to nearly double turnover in the current financial year, with targets to triple in size within the next three years.
With the MD juggling multiple responsibilities, the business is now seeking someone who can create clarity, drive structure, and ensure the right actions are taken by the right people at the right time.
The Role
This is not just a classic PA/EA or admin support role. It’s a strategic and trusted position at the heart of a growing business. Your role will start by supporting the MD directly, getting under the skin of the business, seeing where the gaps are, and helping to keep the plates spinning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high-level administrative support to the MD (diary, inbox, travel, comms)
* Preparing and coordinating leadership and staff meetings (agendas, minutes, follow-up)
* Creating impactful presentations and board-level reports
* Supporting internal communications and HR administration (onboarding, holiday tracking, liaising with an external HR provider)
* Tracking key business actions and projects to ensure accountability
* Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
* Improving systems and workflows (e.g. better task tracking for the MD)
* Supporting occasional personal or external responsibilities
Why This Role?
* You'll be trusted from day one to make a real impact
* You’ll work with an approachable and visionary MD who values people and performance equally
* You’ll join a growing organisation where your role can evolve as the business scales
* You’ll be part of a team that balances high standards with a fun, social working culture (think Friday drinks, dart games, and team lunches)
Applications are now open.
If you're an experienced EA who thrives in a role where structure and initiative meet people and pace—we’d love to hear from you.
