Job Details:
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
* Hours: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
* Pay: £95 - £110 per day
About our Partner School:
Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Tiverton provides an alternative, nature-based education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Through hands-on outdoor learning, students develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a supportive, therapeutic environment. The school focuses on emotional well-being and practical skill-building to help students gain independence and prepare for future opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN during outdoor activities
* Assist in planning and adapting activities to individual needs
* Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
* Monitor and record student progress, communicating with key stakeholders
* Ensure safety and well-being during all outdoor sessions
What We're Looking For:
* Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* Understanding of different learning needs and ability to adapt support
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for outdoor education and inclusion
* Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training
