Role Title: Business Manager / Executive Assistant

Location: Esher, Surrey (Onsite, Full-time)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + full membership at The FIT Partnership

Reports To: CEO

We are at a key stage in our growth — Esher is our flagship site, with future expansion plans into multi-site and licensing. We need a flexible, highly organised Business Manager to act as the CEO's right hand and the glue of the business, ensuring accountability across the team and keeping operations running smoothly day to day.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on hybrid role part Executive Assistant, part Operations Coordinator, part People Manager. You'll manage the CEO's priorities, keep the team aligned to KPIs, ensure practitioners are onboarded and retained, and help systemise the business for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Accountability

· Act as the glue of the business, connecting people, priorities, and processes.

· Own the Shared Scoreboard, tracking KPIs across Sales, Marketing, Gym, Front of House, and Operations.

· Manage meetings: set clear KPIs and timeframes, track actions, and ensure follow-up.

· Run regular team catch-ups, one-to-ones, and disciplinary meetings when required.

· Support practitioners with regular check-ins to build strong relationships and retain rental occupancy.

CEO Support

· Operate as the CEO's right hand, removing operational distractions.

· Take responsibility for holding the team accountable so the CEO can focus on growth, partnerships, and vision.

· Provide weekly performance summaries to CEO and board-level stakeholders.

Hiring & Onboarding

· Lead on recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff and practitioners.

· Ensure culture fit, compliance, and smooth integration into the business.

Operations & Practitioners

· Manage onboarding of practitioners (contracts, insurance, induction).

· Oversee VIP/Protocol client journey alongside Sales and Concierge.

· Liaise with Head of Facilities on stock approvals, rotas, and facilities.

Systems, SOPs & Automation

· Start building SOPs (standard operating procedures) for all core processes.

· Work with the Tech Consultant to implement automation and dashboards.

· Reduce manual tasks across sales, marketing, and FOH by streamlining workflows.

Key Skills & Experience

· Strong background as an EA, Office Manager, or Business/Operations Coordinator.

· Demonstrated ability to manage people, set KPIs, and enforce accountability.

· Excellent organisational and communication skills.

· Confident managing meetings, reviews, and disciplinary processes.

· Experience in recruitment and onboarding.

· Tech savvy — able to work with CRM, spreadsheets, and digital tools.

· Proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable "rolling sleeves up."
