We are looking for a QHSE Lead to take ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management at our Louth manufacturing site. This is a key leadership role ensuring compliance with legal, corporate, and customer standards while fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Your Mission
* Champion Health & Safety culture across the site, ensuring a safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
* Develop and maintain robust QHSE systems aligned with regulations and international standards.
* Drive proactive safety initiatives, identify risks, and implement preventive measures.
* Ensure product quality from raw materials to finished goods, overseeing laboratory operations and audits.
* Promote continuous improvement, enhancing process control and product consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead internal and external audits (BRC, ISO, HACCP).
* Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), documentation, and supplier approvals.
* Investigate incidents and non-conformances, implementing corrective actions.
* Supervise laboratory testing, calibration, and compliance.
* Ensure adherence to HSE and environmental regulations.
* Monitor KPIs, OEE, and support improvement projects.
What We’re Looking For
* Education: HACCP Level 3 certification and Health & Safety qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH).
* Experience: Proven background in quality assurance, laboratory operations, and regulatory audits within manufacturing.
* Skills: Attention to detail, leadership, strong communication, and ability to work under pressure.
* Mindset: Proactive, results-driven, and committed to safety and quality excellence.
