Credit Controller (Temporary)

About the Job
A temporary opportunity has arisen within the finance team for a Credit Controller to support with sales ledger activities and general finance administration in the lead-up to Christmas.
Duties will include:
1. Releasing credit-held customer orders
2. Investigating and resolving sales ledger queries
3. Building relationships with customers and managing payment activity
4. Posting incoming payments onto the system
5. Setting up and maintaining customer account details, including credit checks
6. Issuing monthly statements and managing direct debit processes
7. Processing payments and handling refunds
8. Supporting with rebates and claims
9. Answering phones and assisting with general administrative duties
About the Successful Applicant
You’ll ideally have some previous experience in a credit control or finance support role, with strong communication and numeracy skills. A proactive approach, confidence in handling calls, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook) are key.
What You Will Receive in Return
In return, you’ll be part of a close-knit team within a well-established business, working office hours Monday to Friday (9:30am–5:30pm) with free onsite parking. This temporary position is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience before the end of the year.
