We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused individual for the role of Senior Cash and Card Consultant. This corporate role is based within Global Payment Solutions, Commercial Banking UK. It offers an exciting opportunity to generate revenue by originating leads, building and maintaining strategic relationships with clients to identify and sell innovative cash and clearing management solutions to the Corporate segment.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Managing a portfolio of complex clients to grow revenues and generate new income from both existing clients and prospects across the GPS product suite domestically and internationally within the North West region.
* Broadening and deepening client relationships, developing new business through ideas & solutions, and traveling to customer premises for meetings.
* Participating in customer planning and monitoring as part of the Commercial Banking (CMB) client planning process.
* Collaborating with key stakeholders including CMB, Product Development, and Client Management to ensure a positive client experience.
* Sharing success stories and insights with management and stakeholders, and highlighting challenges.
* Providing input to strategic business direction, sharing insights, and supporting the launch of new products and services.
* Reassessing the sales process for efficiency and working with stakeholders to improve it.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for good customer outcomes.
* Managing costs within plan, minimizing losses, and ensuring proper authorization for expenses.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Experience in sales or business development roles.
* Ability to identify and meet customer needs through a broad range of products and services.
* Experience in developing and executing business opportunities successfully.
* Relevant product knowledge, including Transaction Banking / Global Payment Solutions.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of economic, cultural, procedural, and regulatory issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage priorities and stakeholder relationships.
* Experience delivering excellent customer service and innovating to improve propositions.
* Effective networking skills internally and externally.
* Role-relevant qualifications, e.g., Certificate of International Cash Management, ACT (advantageous).
* A valid driving license is essential due to geographical requirements.
This is a hybrid role based in Manchester or Liverpool.
