Overview
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will set the commercial vision, build capability at scale and lead the execution of an integrated commercial strategy that delivers sustainable growth across our diverse branded hotel estate. This is a remote role with an office base at Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton, requiring weekly attendance, alongside national travel. As Head of Commercial, you will have end-to-end responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Distribution and Digital. You will set and deliver the commercial strategy and build a high-performing commercial culture, working closely with owners, brand partners and senior stakeholders to deliver sustainable, long-term growth.
Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the group commercial strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement and market share gains.
* Lead and develop high performance teams in Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Commercial Performance & Business Insights to deliver consistent results.
* Set clear direction on pricing, yield and demand strategy, ensuring rate integrity, forecasting accuracy and competitive set outperformance.
* Drive sales effectiveness, conversion and commercial productivity across the portfolio.
* Ensure strong governance, accuracy and discipline across forecasting, reporting and performance reviews.
* Build future commercial capability through succession planning and development.

Qualifications
* You will be a proven Head of Commercial or Commercial Director from a branded, multi-property hospitality who brings:
o A competitive, collaborative and results orientated drive to the business.
o Proven experience and expertise in leading a sales, revenue management and marketing team.
o Understanding of revenue management, pricing, distribution and demand generation.
o Creative thinking and a good understanding of marketing and demand generation campaigns which interface with and support the overall sales and revenue management strategies.
o Commercially bold with strong analytical capability and confidence making evidence-based decisions in complex environments.
o Experience leading large, matrixed commercial teams within a branded or owner-led context.
o Confident at operating at an executive level, blending strategic thinking with hands-on commercial leadership.
o A values-led leadership style that builds trust, accountability and high performance.
