They're now looking to bring in an experienced SEO Specialist to take full ownership of organic search performance across the business. This is a hands-on role with genuine responsibility, where you'll plan, execute, and optimise SEO activity end-to-end rather than acting as a supporting function. You'll be trusted to shape and deliver the SEO strategy, working closely with the wider marketing team to drive qualified enquiries, improve rankings for priority service and location terms, and build a scalable content engine that supports long-term growth. The focus is on sustainable performance, strong foundations, and measurable commercial impact. This role would suit an SEO professional who is comfortable owning outcomes, making data-led decisions, and operating autonomously in an on-site environment. You'll be confident working across technical SEO, content, and performance reporting, and able to translate insight into practical action. SEO SPECIALIST ROLE: * Own and execute the full SEO strategy across technical, on-page, content, and ethical off-page activity * Build and maintain a prioritised SEO roadmap aligned to commercial goals * Conduct keyword research, mapping, and SERP analysis across services and locations * Lead technical SEO activity including crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, internal linking, schema, redirects, and canonicals * Create clear content briefs for blogs, guides, service pages, and location pages * Optimise existing content for E-E-A-T, CTR, and conversions * Monitor rankings, traffic, and enquiry performance with clear reporting and insights * Oversee white-hat digital PR and link acquisition activity * Track authority growth and SEO performance over time * Support CRO initiatives and SEO-friendly testing using GA4 and Looker Studio SEO SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL SKILLS: * 3 years' proven SEO experience delivering measurable growth (in-house or agency-side) * Strong technical SEO knowledge and hands-on experience * Confident with keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content strategy * Experience with local SEO and review generation best practice * Data-driven mindset with strong GA4 and Google Search Console knowledge * Comfortable using SEO tools such as SE Ranking, Ahrefs, or Majestic * WordPress experience (Elementor, ACF); basic HTML/CSS understanding * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain SEO clearly to non-specialists DESIRABLE SKILLS: * Experience in home improvement, trades, healthcare, or lead-generation environments * Understanding of accessibility guidelines and content for older audiences * Basic CRO, testing, or copywriting experience * Familiarity with HubSpot, landing pages, or CRM integrations BENEFITS: * Competitive salary (£32,000 - £38,000 DOE) * Company pension * Free on-site parking * Training budget and access to leading SEO tools * Supportive, collaborative marketing team * Long-term role with real ownership and impact
