About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning across a range of abilities, year groups, and backgrounds. From helping in whole-class lessons to delivering focused interventions, you’ll be a key part of a supportive and creative teaching team.
What You’ll Do:
Work alongside class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
Support individual pupils, including those with additional needs (SEND), EAL learners, and high achievers.
Assist in planning and leading small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through a caring and inclusive approach.
Use ICT confidently to enhance learning and support assessments.
Bring creativity to learning through art, music, storytelling, or outdoor play.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with primary-aged children in a classroom or similar setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Confidence to adapt and respond to the needs of different learners.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine love for helping children thrive.
Additional strengths or interests in areas such as SEN support, pastoral care, bilingual support, sports, or creative arts are highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
