Overview
We are seeking a passionate individual dedicated to ensuring excellence and supporting the growth and development of others to join our team of Quality Assurance experts for our SME division. If you have experience in the insurance industry, we are particularly interested in hearing from you. Your expertise, sound judgment, and compliance track record will be invaluable in maintaining organizational standards.
This role can be based at our Llantrisant or Brierley Hill offices, with minimal travel to Jersey, Isle of Man, and Guernsey.
How you'll make an impact
* Utilize your insurance and quality experience to mitigate risks by providing feedback and identifying audit trends.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders and provide feedback on audit trends and risk areas.
* Conduct accurate audits in line with monitoring requirements.
* Verify samples of audited files to ensure accuracy and consistency, collaborating with offshore auditors.
* Report audit results, provide feedback, and develop remedial action plans.
* Identify significant risks and highlight them appropriately.
* Support project work and contribute to building a platform for change and consistency.
* Stay updated with industry knowledge, especially FCA compliance requirements.
About You
* Insurance experience is ideal; candidates from related backgrounds are welcome.
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent; working towards CII/Dip CII is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and compliance practices.
* Detail-oriented with an understanding of retail conduct risk outcomes.
* Proficient in business processes and capable of offering solutions.
* Proven ability to work to targets within a regulated framework.
* Excellent relationship-building skills and interpersonal abilities.
* Motivational leadership skills to develop team members.
* Risk awareness and proactive seeking of advice when needed.
* Organizational skills for planning and a strong sense of ethics and customer focus.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
