*Job Overview*We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Solicitor to lead our legal department. Acting as a senior point of reference for clients and colleagues at all offices, with progress to partnership.Salary and bonus structure will be dependent on experience.*Duties** Lead and manage the commercial legal team, ensuring high standards of legal practice and client satisfaction* Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts and agreements, shareholder and partnership agreements, business sales and acquisitions, terms and conditions and trading documentation, general corporate and advisory work* Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents with precision and clarity* Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives* Manage case files efficiently within the law office setting while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards* Engage in client consultations to understand their needs and deliver tailored legal solutions* Stay updated on current laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice*Qualifications** At least 5 years of PQE in commercial law* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients* Proficiency in comprehensive legal research* Excellent writing skills and expertise in legal drafting for various documents and pleadings* Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough research and analyze complex legal issuesThis role is ideal for an accomplished solicitor seeking to leverage their expertise in a leadership capacity within a forward-thinking firm committed to delivering outstanding legal services.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £35,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
