Salary: £80,000 - £88,000 DOE
Hours: Mon – Friday (days shifts)

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Engineering Manager for our well-established Manufacturing client based in Merseyside.
You will be responsible for leading a large, multi-disciplinary engineering division, driving continuous improvements and delivering complex high-value projects.
You will have a strong background in Manufacturing Operations implementing TPM and SMED methodologies ensuring the highest standard of H&S processes are maintained.
As the Senior Engineering Manager your key responsibilities are:
* Champion Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, embedding operational excellence principles across processes, systems, and team dynamics.
* Provide strategic leadership to a large, multi-disciplinary engineering team, across various sites, building team capability through effective coaching and performance management.
* Manage high value engineering projects, including new production lines/manufacturing equipment and facility expansions/refurbishments.
* Drive improvements in OEE by applying Lean methodologies and TPM principles across manufacturing operations.
* Implement AM and PM schedules to improve equipment reliability.
* Lead production line optimisation by implementing standardised setup procedures and applying SMED techniques to reduce changeover times and increase productivity.
* Establish and execute a structured reactive maintenance strategy.
* Define and execute engineering strategies to support long term business growth.
* Always Ensure full compliance with HSE and ATEX requirements.
As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will have :
* Must have previous experience in a Senior Engineering Management role.
* Must have Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
* Excellent Project Management experience – i.e. managing large-scale, complex projects, consistently delivering on time and within budget.
* Strong leadership capability with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams while driving cultural and organizational change.
* Highly experienced in Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies.
* Excellent communicator, strategic thinker, and hands-on leader with a proactive attitude.
