Job Description Job Title General Manager Hours Up to 40 hours a week to include evenings and weekends on a rota basis. We are flexible about the number of hours on offer for the perfect candidate. Salary £15 per hour Main Job Role Responsible for safely managing operations at the centre for all customers, staff, volunteers, contractors, and stake holders, ensuring the centre complies with legislative health and safety requirements within the procedural boundaries as set out by the company. Ensure centre operates within financial budgets. Support our team of staff and volunteers to provide the best possible experience for our customers. Actively engage with our customers and stakeholders as the main face of our leisure centre. Key Tasks Ensure the centre complies with all legislative health and safety compliance requirements, and those set by the trust. Responsible for the management and monitoring of leisure centre budgets & cash handling. Management of all operational staff and volunteers. Ensure our team of staff comply with our training requirements. Support Duty Managers in delivery of their role requirements. Overseeing scheduling of leisure centre timetables/bookings ensuring best value for money. Oversee leisure centre rotas to ensure best value for money and providing excellent delivery of customer service. Oversee the maintenance of the centre, planning and responsive, ensuring best value for money. Identifying income generation opportunities and grant funding opportunities. Work with our local community, stakeholders, and trustees, to provide active lifestyle opportunities for all. Provide monthly Key Performance Indicators for Board of Trustees.
