Job Description: Equipment Operator at Systems, LLC

We are Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to grow and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
This role is within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. The successful candidate will be expected to:
1. Set up equipment according to print specifications and work instructions, make adjustments to maintain setup, and perform equipment or machinery setup including stamping dies, forming dies, machining dies, etc.
2. Perform daily and/or weekly operator equipment maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Operate equipment such as iron worker, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saw, milling machines, plasma, and others proficiently.
* Use inspection gauges like dial calipers, protractors, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks.
* Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine operations.
* Drive forklifts and maintain necessary certification.
* Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables to load/unload materials.
* Route parts and components to proper departments or storage.
* Label materials and scan shop orders within an ERP system.
* Prioritize workload efficiently within time constraints.
* Follow health and safety guidelines; managers should ensure team compliance.
* Maintain confidentiality of company information.
* Enhance professional knowledge through workshops, reading, networking, and participation in societies.
* Contribute to team efforts and participate in projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
* Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience operating equipment such as iron workers, press brakes, hydraulic shear, band saws, milling machines, plasma cutters, etc.
The pay for this position is $18.75/hour. Compensation may vary based on factors like location, education, training, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan, health benefits, paid holidays, PTO, and more.
This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan, subject to plan terms.
