Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed lorries, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
* Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Load and unload goods, securing loads appropriately for transport.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Skills
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
