About Us Based in the GL5 area, we combine modern diagnostic tools with over 35 years of technical expertise. We work with major insurers and specialist fleets, including Ambulance Trust vehicles, meaning you will handle a diverse and interesting workload. Your Role (What you'll be doing) As a vital member of our Stroud technical team, you will:
* Advanced Diagnostics: Identify faults using technical manuals, schematics, and modern diagnostic software.
* Full Repairs: Perform routine servicing and mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Specialist Systems: Conduct ADAS and geometry calibrations to high industry standards.
* Compliance: Complete pre-MOT repairs to VOSA standards and maintain accurate job records.
* Specialist Fleet: Maintain and repair high-priority vehicles, including emergency service units.
* Collaboration: Work effectively within a small, dedicated team of experts.
What You Need
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
* Compliance: A full UK driving licence (C1 licence is desirable but not essential).
* Technical Skill: Confident using hand/power tools and interpreting complex technical schematics.
* Advantage: F-Gas accreditation is a plus.
* Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset.
