We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Repair Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring a wide range of electronic devices including laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Apple products. This role requires strong micro-soldering skills, board-level repair expertise, and hands-on experience with both hardware and software troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Apple devices (both hardware and software).
* Perform micro-soldering and board-level repairs on logic boards, charging ICs, connectors, and SMD components.
* Repair and refurbish physical frames, hinges, and casings to extend device lifespan.
* Identify cost-saving alternatives instead of recommending full replacements.
* Read and interpret schematics/board diagrams to assist in advanced troubleshooting.
* Conduct liquid damage recovery and data recovery where possible.
* Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and customer updates.
* Stay up-to-date with new devices and technology entering the market.
* Assist in mentoring junior technicians and sharing best practices.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years proven experience in electronics repair (15+ years a strong advantage).
* Proficiency in micro-soldering, microscope work, and board-level fault diagnosis.
* Strong understanding of laptop, phone, and tablet hardware (Apple & Windows).
* Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues.
* Experience repairing frames, hinges, and casings.
* Knowledge of BIOS/firmware recovery and diagnostic tools.
* Familiarity with data recovery techniques (preferred).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
