Pay: Competitive rates (depending on experience) £100 Sign-On Bonus (T&Cs apply)
Hello Education are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Post-16 setting from 1st September, on an ongoing basis.
About The Role
You will play a vital role in supporting learners with additional needs, ensuring they can access education in a safe and supportive environment. This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to learners with SEN or additional needs.
Understand and address the barriers faced by students in accessing learning.
Deliver personal care as required.
Support students with challenging behaviour, using positive behaviour management strategies.
Assist in lessons, working closely with teachers and other support staff.
Requirements
Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
Experience Supporting Learners With SEN/Additional Needs.
Comfortable delivering personal care.
Good understanding of challenging behaviour and effective management techniques.
Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Moving And Handling Training/qualifications.
