To support the Bariatric Coordinators within the department to provide a full and comprehensive medical secretarial service for the consultants and clinical teams.

Person Specification
Qualifications / Training
* Educated to NVQ III in administration or equivalent level of experience
* English and Maths GCSE grade 9-2 (A*–E) or equivalent
* RSA Word Processing and Audio Transcription
Knowledge, Experience & Expertise
* Significant experience working in a busy office environment (to deadlines and targets)
* Advanced keyboard skills, must have good and accurate inputting skills
* Ability to deal with conflicting workloads and timescales
* Awareness of confidentiality
* Ability to make informed judgements and make careful analysis of situationsAbility to prioritise workloads and work under pressure maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
* Knowledge of 18‑week RTT
* Awareness of local and national NHS guidelines
* Ability to work with a multidisciplinary framework
* Knowledge of Microsoft software packages such as Word, Excel
* Ability to analyse, interpret and report on data
* Knowledge of EPR and Bluespier
* An understanding of waiting list management
* An understanding of medical terminology
* Experience and knowledge of systems: Winscribe, Dragon Medical One Client, Bluespier, Cerner EPR
* Awareness of health & safety issues, risk management, information governance and data protection

Salary
£25,760 to £27,476 a year per annum, pro rata.
