Job Description
Deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within a collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff, and external bodies, in accordance with the agreements of the Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers.
This position starts on 18th August 2025 and ends on 29th March 2026. The successful applicant will work alongside another class teacher to manage a Primary 2 class, including children with high levels of additional support needs.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements
This post involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will be required to join or update the PVG Scheme and provide the necessary checks. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
