About the role
This position places you at the forefront of our Business Centre. It is a fast-paced, challenging role offering significant exposure to our vibrant customer base and the opportunity to influence our service quality. You will manage a team of over 40 colleagues and serve as Duty Manager at times during the week.
This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in Food Wholesaling within a successful team environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring team compliance with legal standards and company procedures.
* Training team members in cash handling to minimize losses.
* Managing debt and recovering overdue or failed payments.
* Maintaining accurate payroll records.
* Engaging with customers to resolve issues and improve satisfaction based on feedback.
* Coordinating with other department Supervisors on order deliveries.
* Managing a team focused on customer service at reception and checkout areas.
Requirements:
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and enjoyment in managing a team.
* Strong communication skills and some supervisory or managerial experience.
* Practical retail experience.
