3. Manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms for goods and services.
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing strategies.
5. Negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with company objectives.
6. Ensure timely procurement to support continuous supply chain operations.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet purchasing requirements.
8. Analyse cost-saving opportunities and implement improvements where possible.
9. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
10. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
11. Previous experience in procurement or a related field within the FMCG industry.
12. Strong negotiation and analytical skills to deliver value to the business.
13. Familiarity with supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
14. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for purchasing and data analysis.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
