* We are actively seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist community team delivering high-quality support to individuals with complex health, social, psychological, and housing needs.
The Role:
* Manage your own caseload autonomously from assessment through to intervention and review
* Deliver specialist community-based OT services to adults and families
* Apply key legislation including the Care Act, housing regulations, and moving & handling guidance
* Assess the interaction between health, housing, and social care, including recommendations for adaptations and DFGs
* Provide practical support and advice to service users, families, and carers
* Recommend and arrange specialist equipment with a focus on suitability and cost-effectiveness
* Complete person-centred assessments and maintain accurate records
* Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
Requirements:
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration
* Strong experience in community / complex caseloads
* Confident working independently and making clinical decisions
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
