We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Resource Base for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. About the Role As part of our inclusive and nurturing school community, you will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils with SEMH needs engage positively with learning and school life. Each day brings new challenges and rewards — no two days are the same. You will: * Support pupils in developing positive relationships, emotional regulation, and learning skills. * Work 1:1 or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions. * Help create a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment. * Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs. * Model patience, empathy and consistency at all times. About You We are looking for someone who: * Is resilient, adaptable and calm under pressure. * Has a genuine desire to help children overcome barriers to learning. * Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues. * Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Experience in an SEMH or SEND setting is desirable, but training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
