Job Description
Join our ambitious kitchen team at The Victoria Inn, part of Inn Cornwall – a small independent pub company known for great food, warm hospitality, and consistent trade year-round.
As a Commis Chef, you'll play a key role in preparing and producing exceptional pub food with informal dining in mind. You'll be customer-facing during service, carving meat and putting smiles on guests' faces.
Key Responsibilities
* Work through prep lists efficiently and safely.
* Operate the carvery with speed and consistency.
* Advise guests confidently on allergens and ingredients.
* Monitor wastage and production levels.
* Support the kitchen management team.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene (SFBB processes).

* Passionate about quality and locally sourced ingredients.
* A natural communicator with a positive attitude.
* Confident working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Able to commute reliably or relocate before starting work.
