Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity for 2 x Contracts Lawyer available on a fulltime basis. The London Borough of Ealing is proud to be a Borough synonymous with first class services, with vibrant and diverse communities.
Role
The contracts lawyer role: We are looking to recruit two dynamic Contracts Lawyers with a 'can do' approach and an interest in learning new skills to join our fantastic Contracts Team.
Responsibilities
* Have a varied caseload consisting of strategically significant procurements as well as contracts and governance matters.
* Join at an exciting time as the council responds to the challenges and opportunities presented by the Procurement Act 2023.
Qualifications and skills
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to forge productive working relationships across the Council and with local partners.
* Experienced Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with proven expertise in contracts law.
* Experience working collaboratively with staff and colleagues.
* Right to work in the UK (evidence will be requested at the interview stage).
