Responsibilities
* Provide interpreting services in Kurdish-Sorani for a range of clients and settings (face-to-face, telephone, video remote).
* Assist NHS Trusts, local councils, law firms, insurance companies, and private clients across the UK as part of our interpreter network.
* Schedule and accept assignments that fit your availability; manage time effectively to meet client needs.
* Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and accuracy in interpretation.
* Work with a supportive and professional team to deliver high-quality interpreting services.
Typical Assignments Include
* NHS hospitals and GP practices
* Social services and child protection
* Schools and educational settings
* Solicitor appointments and court hearings
* Housing and council departments
* Private sector consultations
Qualifications
* Fluency in English and at least one other language
* Right to work in the UK
* Professional interpreting qualifications
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
* Professional references
* Proof of ID and address
