Experience: Experience with the National Curriculum and teaching KS1/Year 1 is essential.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our team in Blackburn. The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong background in teaching Year 1 students, with a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in the class.
2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
3. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
5. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching KS1/Year 1, with a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Strong classroom management skills
10. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
11. Commitment to continuous professional development
Preferred Qualities:
12. Previous experience as a Year 1 Teacher
13. Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes
14. Ability to work collaboratively within a team
15. Innovative and creative approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
