A mature lady with disabilities needs help with all aspects to allow her to live independently.
She has locked in syndrome so needs help with everything.
Carers / PAs call 3 times a day and in pairs.
The morning call is 2 1/2 hours long and starts at 8 o'clock.
It involves getting up; personal care; giving medication and breakfast ; teeth brushing; showering and dressing.
The dinner call is 1 1/2 hours long and starts at 12 o'clock.
It involves giving medication; feeding and chair transfer.
The tea / bed call is combined and is 2 1/4 hours long and starts at 6 o'clock.
It involves chair transfer; giving medication; feeding evening meal; brushing teeth; putting pajamas on and putting to bed.
The position would be ideal for someone who doesn't want full time hours and is looking for around 12.5 hours per week with the possibility of more hours available.
Successful candidate must also be able to provide cover for sickness/holiday periods. The position is in the Chestnut Lodge area of Widnes
Weekend work may be required.
